Stumbling through his heavy door, Santoro falls into his heavy chair and looked at his desk. Sighing as he picked up his daily report he muttered under his breathe "Gonna cost a hell of a lot more that we have to fight these damn creatures." While flexing his hand Santoro remebered those who fell during the creatures onslaught. "Maybe I should rest for a bit. My wounds seem to not be taking too my medicine. Perhaps I should seek out Dragonfly for my wounds." Slowly slipping into the dark relms of his mind, he fell asleep with one hand on his dagger and another on his bottle.

As the light came through the window and splashed Santoro in the eyes, Santoro jumped up off the bed in alarm. Looking around he spies his target and rushes to the bucket. Raging pain shot up his arm as he fell towards his bucket. "I guess its time to see the healer. Bloody salve didn't help a bit." Peering into the bandage, Santoro twisted again towards the bucket and grunted for Hel herself to give some relief. Standing and walking towards the door seemed to clear his head as he headed off towards town. He knew with the threat at hand, Regent Dragonfly would be in town helping in preperations.

It wasn't the first time Scarecrow had walked into this particular office, and as it seems, it wouldn't be the last, as Santoro had forgotten to change the locks (pun). He would need to remind him of that he thought to himself as the tengu slid his key in and heard a small click and unlocked the door. As he wandered in he saw that the place had been rearranged a bit, but not so much that he didn't recognize his old office. "The records should be somewhere.... aha!" the tengu exclaimed as he pulled the town muster, inport and export reports from a large stack of papers, that he honestly hadn't come to miss since he had been ousted as the old PM. These records were done every morning at dawn to keep record of the money flowing in and out of the city, as well as who was currently holding that money. This including tax records, which happened to have been pulled in very recently... maybe he could find out who the missing girl was, these records were finalized after the battle afterall. If only he had been there, he might have been able to stop it... He was shifting through the papers when suddenly....

"Scarecrow! My friend! Are you sneaking again? May Oden smile with me, you left the door open. If it is information you seak all you need is to ask! What can i help you with?" Halt sat apon his chair behind his desk and sighed in relief. Looking around at his desk, he saw the papers thrown around in a rush. He looked into Scarecrow's eyes and once more shook his head in disbelief. 'I will never understand this man' Halt thought in his head.

"Santoro! May the tides flow your way my friend."
'How foolish of me to leave the door open, you know better then that.' he scolded himself in his brain.
He'd found through experience, when he was young in the temple that it was best to tell the truth in this circumstance. There was nothing he really needed to hide anyways.
"Ineeded to find the tax records, and the city muster reports to see who went missing after the battle, surely you've heard rumors of a girl gone missing?"

Shuffling through the paper for time more while santoro thought up his answer the tengu finally found what he was looking for. He held up his hand just as the Prime Minister was about to speak. "Never mind, I know who's missing, i must speak to Ainvar immediately!" And with that he run off towards the entrance of the castle...
