Ainvar takes a long drag from his pipe, exhaling shortly after. 'Nay, we will only seek the Barony if needs be. We won't want to seem to reliant for their help. Scout the forests to the southwest, if a greater threat is discovered then we will evaluate our options. I would like an emissary to travel to the harbour and inform them of this recent threat. small or great, our neighbors must be informed of any potential risk to commerce'.

"Aye will do. Should you send Santoro, or Scarecrow? I would trust them most with the task, given their swiftness, or if necessary, I can as well." the elf offered, quickly putting out his pipe and jumping up from his chair. "I shall return promptly, give me a day or two. If anyone does wish to accompany me, I shall be waiting by the wharf until midday." he informed them, donning his clothes and swords. "Is there anything else you would like me to carry out for you Sheriff?" Adoven inquired, placing his hat securely atop his head.

'Nay, inform the harbour of this threat, seek any information that can be given on these beastmen. Any amount will help us in this threat'. Ainvar stands, giving a short bow to Adoven. He turns to Fianna and grasps her forearm in goodbye, 'I leave you a free person'. Ainvar knocks the ashed contents of his pipe into the fire and departs the Regent's office to find d some much needed rest in his chambers.

After a pause the ranger bowed in return and tipped his hat at Fianna with a smirk, and with hurried gait walked outside of the Keep.

Fianna leaned back in her chair and examined the empty office. That wen't rather well, she thought to herself with a smile. She hadn't had to do anything at all. The Sheriff and the old regent seemed to have things well enough in hand so she could focus on her other duties now. Planning for the shire.
She stood and prepared to leave the office, taking one last glance around. At the last moment, she decided to slip the guide that Adoven had showed her into her satchel and she swept out of the office to have a look around town and do some planning.
*Headed to Town Square*

"Yes, these beastmen do pose quite a threat it seems. And it's quite nice to see Adoven so confident of my abilities." came a voice from the rafters. "Hmmm.... this is not a quest that should be handled lightly... I dread to think that we might be underestimating them..." the claoked figure murmured to himself as he jumped from the highbeams. "to the wharf then."
