Born into a local river tribe, the Cimbri, Ainvar is the son of renowned warrior, Tarvos. Being raised in the warrior society of his tribe, he learned from an early age the art of the sword, the shield, and the spear. Battling rival tribes, he proved his ability to kill and talent for survival. His true test was battling the legions sent forth by the High-Elves, seeking glory in the lands of the tribes of Man. During the battle of the Spears, he was witness to his father's death, being beheaded by a Elven Officer, Ainvar dove into a blood rage, seperating the man from shoulder to opposing hip. Falling to his knees in a mixture of sorrow and anger, he was taken captive and made a slave. After being sold to a wealthy merchant, he was branded with the numbers VI VI VI, a symbol his owner used for slaves condemned for the arena. Five years of death, hardship, and rotten food was enough for the twenty-five year old Cimbrian. Under the cover of darkness, Ainvar and a small band of slaves snuck out of the compound, slaying a number of guards in the process. After making his way back to Cimbrian lands on the Lock river, Ainvar was given his father's neck torque as a sign of his rank and prowess in his tribe. Establishing himself as a leader, he demanded the current Chieftain of the Cimbri, Dumnorix, to single combat, contesting his position. three broken shields later, Ainvar stood over the dead man's body in triumph. Assuming the rank of Druhtinaz in his tribe.

If it's alright for me to suggest, perhaps to look here just as a guide? I'm not saying one should do it this way, but it is helpful just to get you thinking of any details you may have missed in just him as a person. I myself need to add in a backstory on my persona thread, hopefully by tonight.

I'm actually working on filling mine out and I'm going to attach it as a reply to my character bio so that any one who want's more than my snap-shot can see it.

That sounds excellent! Could you give a 'skeleton' version in the Character Creation post I made? It would be most beneficial to future members.
