With a new house to honor, and a new sword to hold, Gilliam makes his way to the Locks' training ground. He came across this idea in search of a way to familiarize himself with the sword given to him; Perhaps to see a few familiar faces as well. He keeps to himself as he see's others as he makes his way to a few practice dummies. He drops his gear a few paces behind him so it would be out of the way while he walked towards the dummy. Equipped with his gambeson, black pants, and regular boots, he unsheathes the sword. The blade gleamed yellow for a moment, as if to resemble a small spark of lightning, and then it fades. "...Wing Breaker..." Gilliam mutters to himself as he reads the name off of the hilt. Without hesitation he throws a few slot shots at the dummy. "it's lighter than it looks." sweat starts beating down his forehead as he continues to practice.

After so many nights working over books and freshly tanned leather, followed up with a glorious feast to the north with his company, the resident half-bird felt he needed a bit of a stretch, and what better way then to head to the training grounds for a bit of practice. After setting his equipment down, Scarecrow gazed up to find he wasn't the only dragon present.
"Hail, shield brother! what brings you out so early?" He called with a smile.

Gilliam looks over at the voice calling out, missing his shot and stumbles forth. He then stands straight up and wipes the sweat from his eyes. He sees a familiar face.
"Hail, Scarecrow!"
With a tiny smile formed he sheaths Wing Breaker and makes his way to greet the fellow company member.
"Id figure I ought to come for a visit. It's been a while since I've returned to the locks."

"well it's a pleasure to see you here." the tengu smiled, while saluting his companion.
"Is that a new sword? It looks brilliant."
